Annie Mist Thorisdottir is an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir - the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She became famous for becoming the first woman to have been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012 The other accomplishments she has achieved includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was brought up through her mother and father at Reykjavik Iceland. From a very young childhood, Annie was an avid sports fan and enjoyed working out. She won many medals during school competitions. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir, in 2021, was 31 years old. She is 5'7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie was the first to start CrossFit when she was in California. The first time she competed, she was very successful and placed in Top 10 out of 70. But she did not win an award and ended the tournament in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won a silver medal in the same year. Following that, she was a participant in another CrossFit competitions and due to her outstanding performance she was able to win the contest as the very first female to win CrossFit Games. Annie became the very first female to win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. Besides this in 2014 she won a silver medal and recently in 2021 won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has seen her become the face of many brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. In addition to this she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand viewers where her diet videos, family as well as travel videos are posted.
