David Muir is a journalist and anchor from the USA. The most well-known of his shows is World News Tonight. The program, which is characterized by its dramatic video footage celebrity gossip and his animated gestures has been voted the top newscast in America. Made In America has also been selected for the Emmy Awards. Prior to taking over ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor in charge for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. ABC News has broadcast many specials during primetime, with the most recent being Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's traveled the world, report on the news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He has received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as numerous honors and awards by The Associated Press.
